XHTML

I find the overall idea of XHTML pretty simple. My problem is just in remembering exactly how to do things, in terms of the set up. Once I get used to it, I don't think it will be a problem. I just feel like, as of now, I'm going to get messed up in setting up the document with the doctype, heading, etc. I might not, but I think it might kind of frustrate me. Empty tags also kind of confuse me. I think that once I know what every tag is used for and start really writing code, I won't have any real trouble with it, but these things just kind of confuse me right now.
